Raw Dog Food FAQs: Delivery, Collection & Feeding
Where do you deliver?
We offer local refrigerated delivery every Monday across BH1–BH18, BH21–BH25, BH31 and DT11 postcodes. We also provide frozen nationwide delivery to eligible mainland UK addresses using a specialist courier service. Enter your postcode at checkout to view the delivery options available to you.
When will my order be delivered?
Local deliveries take place every Monday between 8:00am and 8:00pm. Orders must be placed before midnight on Sunday, and you’ll receive an email on the morning of delivery with an estimated 30-minute arrival window. Nationwide frozen orders are normally delivered within 1–2 working days after dispatch, although courier delays can occasionally occur.

Can I collect my order?
Yes. You can order online and select collection from either our Moordown or Blandford store at checkout. We’ll let you know when your order is ready to collect.
Do you have a minimum order value?
The minimum order value for local refrigerated delivery is £32, with delivery charged at £3.49. There is no minimum order value for nationwide delivery, which starts from £7.99, or for collection from either of our stores.
I'm new to raw dogs food. How do I get started?
Every dog has different dietary requirements, so it is best to introduce raw dog food gradually. Start by replacing a small amount of your dog’s current food with a suitable complete raw food, then slowly increase the raw portion over approximately 7–10 days.
Monitor your dog’s appetite, stools and general wellbeing during the transition. If their stools become loose, slow the transition and reduce the amount of raw food temporarily before increasing it again more gradually.
Our team can help you choose suitable products, understand feeding quantities and explain the difference between complete and complementary raw food. If your dog is elderly, unwell or has specific dietary requirements, speak to your vet before changing their diet.
Can you help me come up with a raw diet plan?
Our experienced team can offer general guidance on products, feeding quantities and complete versus complementary raw food. Every dog is different, so dogs with allergies, medical conditions or specialist dietary requirements should be assessed by a vet or appropriately qualified canine nutrition professional.
What are the benefits of raw feeding?
Raw feeding is based around natural, meat-rich ingredients and is designed to more closely resemble the type of diet dogs would naturally eat in the wild. A balanced raw diet can include meat, bone and offal, without unnecessary fillers or artificial additives.
Many owners report benefits such as firm stools, good digestion, healthier-looking skin and coat, cleaner teeth and steady energy levels. However, every dog is different, so it is important to choose suitable food and ensure their overall diet is complete and balanced.
How do I transition my pet to a raw diet?
Many dogs benefit from changing food gradually. Begin by replacing a small amount of your dog’s current food with raw food, then increase the raw portion over approximately 7–10 days while monitoring their stools, appetite and general wellbeing. Some dogs may need a slower transition, particularly if they have a sensitive stomach. Speak to your vet if your dog has a medical condition or develops persistent symptoms. How much raw food should I feed my pet?
The amount of raw food your pet needs depends on their weight, age, activity level, and individual metabolism. As a general guideline, dogs should be fed 2-3% of their ideal body weight daily. For puppies and highly active dogs, you might need to adjust the portion size. Our team can help you determine the right amount for your pet’s specific needs.
How should I store raw dog food?
Place your raw dog food in the freezer as soon as possible after delivery or collection. Defrost the required amount in the fridge in its sealed packaging and follow the manufacturer’s storage instructions. Keep raw pet food separate from human food and wash your hands, utensils, surfaces and feeding bowls thoroughly after handling it.
How do I prepare raw dog food at mealtimes?
In preparation for mealtime, place the package in the fridge to defrost, preferably overnight.
Please be aware that defrosting times may vary depending on fridge temperature settings.
Defrosting at room temperature is not recommended.
NEVER MICROWAVE TO DEFROST AND DO NOT COOK.
Make sure you clean your pet’s food and water bowls after every meal.
