01 / How we began
It started with our own dog.
A personal interest in health and nutrition.
A family business built around it.
Raw Dogs Dorset began after we saw the difference raw feeding made to our own dog. It encouraged us to look more closely at what was going into the bowl, and to ask the same questions we ask about our own food.
Health, fitness and nutrition are a big part of our lives. We care about what we eat and how we feel, so giving that same thought to our dogs' food felt natural. They're part of the family, after all.
We wanted to help other owners find good-quality raw food at an affordable price, with someone approachable to turn to when they had a question. That's still what Raw Dogs Dorset is about today.
02 / Why we choose raw
A little more thought in every bowl.
For us, choosing raw comes back to simple ingredients, less processing and knowing what we're feeding. Having seen our own dog thrive after the switch, it's a way of feeding we genuinely believe in.
We're careful about what we stock, looking for quality ingredients and clear labelling. We want you to understand what you're buying, whether you're picking up a familiar favourite or trying a different protein.
Our aim isn't to make feeding feel complicated. It's to offer food we'd choose for our own dogs, plenty of choice and practical help when you need it.

We're proud to be the sole Southcliffe Foods stockist across Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and Blandford.
